I CALL THESE IMAGES 'COLORS'
THEY WERE ALL BUILT FROM A SIMPLE RED RECTANGLE. I USED THE HUE and SATURATION, SHEAR, PINCH, and LIQUIFY FILTERS IN PHOTOSHOP TO CREATE THEM.

MY INTENTION IS TO CELEBRATE COLOR IN 2012. I HOPE THESE IMAGES REFLECT THAT INTENTION. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MY FIRST SOLO ART SHOW THIS YEAR IN MAY.

ALL IMAGES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
THEY CAN BE PRINTED AT ALMOST ANY SCALE
PRINTED WITH ARCHIVAL INK ON ARCHIVAL PAPER
PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR PRICING AND AVAILABILITY AT:

I HAVE BEEN USING THE COMPUTER PROGRAM KNOWN AS PHOTOSHOP.... AS A VIRTUAL PAINTBRUSH..... FOR MANY YEARS

PHOTOSHOP HAS MANY FILTERS AND POWERFUL TOOLS THAT HELP TO CREATE, MANIPULATE, AND ENHANCE IMAGES

THE FINAL IMAGE WHICH I CREATE MIGHT BE MOST CLOSELY DEFINED AS A VEXEL

Vexel is a neologism for an entirely pixel-based form of raster art that imitates the visual appearance of vector graphics technique (i.e. sharp-edged lines and areas of flat colour or smooth gradient fills). The word itself is a portmanteau derived from a combination of "vector" and "pixel."
