David Mark Lane is a talented digital artist specializing in captivating visual experiences. DML's artwork is available for purchase as high-quality digital downloads and signed prints on metal, allowing art lovers to enjoy his unique creations on any screen or as a signed print.
David is an award winning architect, and was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He has worked and lived in Santa Barbara, California since 1989. He received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado, at Boulder. The Environmental Design Program taught an approach to Architectural Design that foreshadowed the current wave of Green / Sustainable Design. Subsequently... he has lived and worked in Vail, Colorado, Scottsdale, Arizona, Santa Barbara, California and Paros, Greece. DML works with Photoshop to create his art. He manipulates pixels, colors and forms... to create new media that he likes to call 'primitive digital'.

David feels that the colors he sees in his artwork, on his computer screen, are best represented when printed on a metal surface.

Recent History
For over 15 years, David has been sharing and promoting his digital artwork online, and in numerous venues in Santa Barbara. DML has often shown prints of his digital abstracts as part of Santa Barbara's Abstract Art Collective's juried exhibitions. He was an active participant in the early 'Art Scene' in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone...
