David Mark Lane is a talented digital artist known for his captivating digital abstract experiences. David, an award-winning architect, was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and has been residing in Santa Barbara, California, since 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where the Environmental Design Program introduced approaches to Architectural Design that anticipated the current wave of Green and Sustainable Design. Over the years, he has also lived and worked in Vail, Colorado, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Paros, Greece. DML utilizes Photoshop to produce his art, skillfully manipulating pixels, colors, and forms to create what he refers to as 'primitive digital'...

David Mark Lane believes that the colors present in his digital abstract artwork are best represented when printed on a metal surface. We will have the unique digital art pieces you choose professionally printed on aluminum. You can choose between a glossy or flat surface, so please specify your preference in the order. All metal prints are delivered ready to hang. David personally oversees the quality of each print and only signs those that meet his high standards.

For over 15 years, David Mark Lane has been sharing and promoting his unique digital art online and in various venues across Santa Barbara. His digital abstracts have frequently been showcased as part of Santa Barbara's Abstract Art Collective's juried exhibitions. David was an active participant in the early 'Art Scene' in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone, where he gained recognition for his innovative digital art. Additionally, David designs buildings, with the most recent project being the Guesthouse at Meade Farm in Paso Robles, California.
